    Sar Aqa Seyyed is a village in Miankuh-e Moguyi Rural District, in the Central District of Kuhrang County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. "Sar Agha Sayed" (Also: Sar aqa seyed, seyyed, sayyed) (Persian: سرآقاسید) is a famous historic Iranian village in "Chahar Mahal-o-Bakhtiari" Province. Sar Aqa Seyyed is a mountainous village that is about 130 km from Shahrekord and 200 km from Isfahan. Characterized by a peculiar reddish hue, the village is one of the oldest in Iran, attracting numerous native and foreign tourists year-round, especially during traditional feasts and ceremonies. How to get there: 1- Go to Baihaghi or South terminal of buses in Tehran (more info), 2- Take a bus ticket to Shahre Kord. 3- Take a taxi from Shahre Kord to Chelgerd 4- Take a 4wd vehicle from Chelgerd to th village (About 40 km off road so 4wd vehicle is a best choose) - No airport less than 100 km Best time to visit is late spring and early summer. This village is out of the routine tourist paths in Iran and you should arrange a driver/guide for one full day. People are so nice and they live completely traditionally. The costumes especially women's are so beautiful and the architecture of village is brilliant. - In social media, this image of Sar Aqa Seyyed has been posted many times with the title "Masuleh", another historical village in Gilan Province of . Although they look alike, the structure is different but many people may confuse Masuleh with Palangan, Sar Aqa Seyyed, and look-alikes.
