Company History
Parissa is a privately held Canadian company, founded by Azar and Freidoon Moayeri on January 13, 1983; incorporated January 31, 1991. Azar Moayeri, a chemical engineer with an Iranian heritage, emigrated to Canada along with her husband, Freidoon and their two young children after the Iranian revolution and began creating a hair removal product.
Over the last 25 years, Parissa has expanded internationally, yet still continues to manufacture, package and ship products from a production facility between the coastline and mountains of North Vancouver, British Columbia. Parissa remains a family owned and run company.
